My hand was being gripped tightly. The falling raindrops hurt.
I had just talked with the shinigami inside that bright world, but somehow I found myself back in the real world, drenched because of the rain.
With Suzuno gripping my arm.
“What are you doing?! Quickly! Let’s go somewhere with a roof!”
“…Suzuno? Huh? Where did Motoyama and the others go?”
Suzuno pulled me without asking me any questions.
“They went ahead! Didn’t you see them?!”
“…Um.”
“Jeez, get a grip of yourself! Don’t daydream at times like this! They went ahead of us so Momo-chan’s camera wouldn’t get wet!”
Under the heavy clouds, in the cold rain, Suzuno dragged me through the torii gates.
‘So warm…’
The current situation was terrible, but my heart felt warm for some reason.
Suzuno and I were running together. She held my arm tightly. We talked to each other for the first time in a long while.
This alone made me so happy.
