“Alright, see you later, Natsuhara-san. Check out where the girl group will go for me, okay?”

In the corner of my eyes, Suzuno waved her hand while smiling brightly.
The person she talked to was Motoyama, my ‘(self proclaimed) best friend.’
Recently, they had been talking to each other a lot.
They knew each other since they were kids, so it wasn’t surprising to see them getting along well with each other. Rather it would be unnatural if they weren’t since they had been going to the same school since pre-school.
But… For some reason, I felt irritated.
I didn’t know what triggered it, but one day, they just started acting friendly to each other. Yesterday, they decided that they’d be in the same group for the school trip.
Naturally, Motoyama added me to that group. Motoyama, me, Suzuno, and Momo-chan. The four of us would be going to Kyoto for ‘self study.’
